About Me
Current Motto: Laugh a lot, try new things, connect with strangers! :)
I work in the plant based industry, with a background in environmental science. I've been vegan for 5 years for the animals and the planet <3
I love going to music festivals and concerts. I've found that they are one of the most amazing ways to connect with people, and remind me the world is full of compassionate and giving people. Definitely excited for shows to be happening again! By far my favorite was Lightning in a Bottle. I am obsessed with Odesza, but grew up listening to the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, etc.
I love fantasy novels and self-growth books, and am always looking for recommendations. Right now I'm reading Women Who Run with the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés. I've also been recently obsessed with playing Breath of the Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Costa Rica, I conducted a study on how soil changes when forests are cut down. While collecting samples, a troop of white faced capuchins came above me in the trees and were observing me! It was a pretty surreal moment and I'd like to think they were trying to figure out what I was doing.
