Overview
About Me
I am a 22-year-old French engineering student from Lyon. I am at the present time doing an exchange semester in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. I am very enthusiastic about meeting local people there and becoming imbued with the brazilian culture, which is in my opinion, fantastic. I have already done other linguistic exchanges and interships, especially in Germany. I enjoy to travel and compare cultures with one another.
In my opinion, this is one of the best way to learn about the world and yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am eager to meet people bringing part of their culture with them and listening to their anecdotes. I am convinced of the efficiency of Couchsurfing to get in touch with travelers who consider travel as one of the best human experience. I also believe there is no better way to discover a place than meeting locals, abandoning your travel guide for a while and taking time to get lost abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : I am a classical violin-player from education but I like to listen to many others various styles of music : brazilian music (samba and forro), electronic (techno-house), Rock and Roll, jazz.
Movies : "Fight club" and " The pianist" without any hesitation.
Books : "Autour du monde" by Laurent Mauvigner, "L'abyssin" by Jean-Christophe Rufin, "Un barrage contre le Pacifique" by Marguerite Duras.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Go study to Brasil, sharing some French alcohol with room-mates there and walk in the streets of Vila Madalena (São Paulo).
Survive to a sandstorm at an altitude of 3000 meters in the mountain massif of Atlas, Morocco.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can tell you about French culture from my point of view. Share a beer or caïpirinha in a bar or go dancing on techno-house with you. I possibly can play a piece of violin if you insist well :)
