If you like more specific topics, I'm into startups, functional programming, user interfaces, VR, animation, generative art, and big-data in medicine.

But pretty much anything is interesting to me, if put in an interesting way.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was in Armenia, and I met this nice couple on the street who showed me around. The husband was an Armenian Iraqi expatriate. He said he used to be a commando fighting in the Iran/Iraq war, 30 years ago.

I jokingly told him "You were probably fighting against my uncle. He, too, was a commando, fighting for his country in that war." He smiled and said "Yes, I might have fought your uncle :)"

He was a nice person. Very friendly, and strangely reminded me of my own uncle. They were very much alike.
