About Me

Psychology student and sound enthusiast. Living for authentic human encounters, creamy hummus and cute kittens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a decently sized apartment and have space to host poeple. Meeting new people is always a blast, and it feels great to be able to help travellers out while doing so.

Interests

Some tidbits:
- Hearing people's life stories, it's like a drug to me
- Camping in the woods
(I love nature and it's beautiful infinite complexity)
- Music (both as a consumer and as a musician, hand me an instrument and we'll have a jam session! I'm not great at anything, but hey you don't need to be Beethoven in order to have fun)
- Cooking (long time vegetarian, recent vegan)
- Animals!
- Gaming (played a lot of video games when I was younger, now I'm deeper into board games)
- Philosophy
- Beer!
- Abstract art

Music, Movies, and Books

My #1 favorite movie is without a doubt Koyaanisqatsi (1982). It's an amazing narration-less documentary by Godfrey Reggio, with an absolutely mind blowing soundtrack by Philip Glass, and cinematography by Ron Fricke (the guy who later went on to make Chronos/Baraka/Samsara if you've heard of those). Mind blowing social commentary. Check it out!

Tastes in music are always so hard to describe! I listen to music from a lot of different genres, but one pattern I always enjoy is repetition. Let's be last.fm friends at http://www.lastfm.se/user/Blight00.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Aside from my couch and my company over a couple of beers, or my hands in an amateur jam session, I am happy to cook you a nice hearty vegetarian dish, such as a lentil stew or a bean chili. I can also teach you a bit of Swedish, or even Farsi if you're into a more exotic language.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
