ABOUT ME

Andrew and Ariana met in 2005 when they both started grad school in Madison, WI where Andrew was studying environmental history through oysters and Ariana was studying environmental justice in Canada's sub-arctic.

We love to travel, take pictures, keep in touch with friends and family, be outside and try now activities, stay fit, watch good movies, read a great book, and of course, again, travel!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we are currently volunteering in the Canadian Arctic, in a high school, working as teaching assistants, in exchange for room and board!

We would love for others to come and see our little arctic town, Inuvik, and since prices are soo high, we are happy to host visitors. Plus, we think of it as paying it forward, as we plan to try and stay with others in our future travels!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never tried something quite like couch surfing, but hear from friends that it can be very rewarding, and so look forward to it. I have given extensive thought to the idea of house swapping and want to do that sometime in the future, maybe over a summer when I have a family, going to live overseas somewhere!
