I am a 24 year old female, a passionate person, with an old soul. I was raised to be caring and considerate of other, respectful, and sensitive to the feelings of those around me. I pride myself on the way I treat others, and I am a creative personality.

I'm big into folk, jazz, and acoustic music. I'm a singer-songwriter, amateur photographer, and generally artistic personality. I like to laugh, and tell jokes like my Dad. Sometimes they are terribly un-funny. But I'll tell them anyways. I care about the people I encounter, and try to appreciate everybody for who they are, rather than deciding how they should be different.

I'm very kind and genuine. Some of my best friends are people that I've met in other cities on random excursions. I love to maintain relationships with people when I feel as though the friendship is genuine.

I've heard that couch surfing is one of the most wonderful ways to travel anywhere, because the community is mostly wonderful people who are supportive and trusting / trustworthy.

I love being outdoors. Gardening.
I'm a pretty handy person too. I like to build things and to create.
I also paint. I can sew pretty well (for functional repairs of clothing).

I can teach people very simple things on piano or guitar. I'm happy to give lessons, or vocal lessons.

I like to write songs, collaboratively as well as alone. I'm always happy to listen to and provide feedback on original work. But more than anything else, I love to sing harmonies on other peoples music. Harmonies fill my soul with joy.

I'm also remarkably well versed in the hundreds of paths through Edmonton's river valley, which is a huge part of our city.
