To chill and have a good time, and take some amazing photos along the way.

ABOUT US

Firstly, we are both pescatarians, meaning we eat seafood, but no other meat. If you are staying with us, please no meat in the house! We live in a tiny little apartment, the kind where only one person can really be in the kitchen at a time. It's great for us as a couple, but means that there are no private spaces other than the bathroom, and we can really only host for two nights because of this.

Ariana - I, like most people dig music, art, photography, reading and exploring. I am super into riding bikes, and do most of my commuting and getting around on the bike, and am a professional photographer. I like pretty much anything creative, and one of my favourite things to do when travelling if find a good cafe.

Sean is a barista / cook, loves riding bikes, rollerblading, cooking, dancing around, and super loves to go to Karaoke and sing anything from Queen to Whitney Houston songs. He has a soft spot for zombies and kittens. We are both pescitarians (like vegetarians, but also eat seafood now and again).

about Sean and I - we're both goofy, friendly, curious about the world, and good house guests! He will probably do the following in yout house - dancing, cleaning, and making sure his moustache looks good. haha.
I'm super easy-going, am capable of falling asleep almost anywhere, and love a good adventure and doing something new. I love reading, and my true passion is definitely photography.

PHILOSOPHY

Ariana - dont really have a set personal philosophy, but one thing that rings true is that you are always learning, always adapting, so keep an open mind and just enjoy the life you have.

Sean - Sean does everything with his whole being, and is a passionate red head, and believes in energy and loves crystals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've c/surfed in peru, ecuador, honduras, panama, the united states, canada, Holland, Switzerland, France, England, korea, serbia, turkey, greece, bulgaria, poland, new zealand.. and just about anywhere else i've been or will go to.. and although not all were affiliated thru this website, i've pretty much couch surfed anywhere and anytime i could when travelling my whole life.

Together we have surfed through Europe (England; if that still counts; Belgium, Holland, Germany, and hopefully Czech Republic and Iceland next!), and are moving back to Vancouver after two years living in Australia together.

Interessen

Ariana - photography and old cameras, riding my bike around everywhere, painting, singing, and meeting new people. I also have an undying love for glow in the dark objects. I can't seem to help it.

Sean - Music, movies (majorly into movies; if you need a movie buddy, I am it; especially horror since Ariana will mostly never watch those with me). I'm a non-drinker, but am still happy to hang out wherever everyone else is going.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Bands/Musicians Ariana digs: bob dylan, sublime, otis redding, animal collective, ray charles, radiohead, sam cooke, and lots of oldies.
Sean: Pretty much a fan of everything, but especialy classic rock and old school rap/hip hop.

movies
Ariana... foreign language things a lot, and a little documentary obsessed, but pretty much will happily watch anything.
Sean: Action, comedy, horror, drama.. not as big on documentaries as I get my fill from being with Ariana.

books
Ariana: i like classics, some poetry... i seem to love leo tolstoy the best of all writers, but i am a voracious reader of most books. Currently reading a book by Lyndsey Addario about being a war photographer.

Sean: Suspense, horror, and thrillers all the way.

If you host us, we would LOVE to cook for you, adventure with you, but are also pretty independant if you have a busy schedule.
Really, it help us so much when we are able to couch surf with someone, and are happy to contribute as much as we can while staying with you!
