I've become a guide for my friend's couchsurfing friend during his stay in Jakarta. Outside couchsurfing, my friend from India, Japan , South Korea and France have been staying in my place and they really enjoyed it.

When I was in Tokyo, I helped some foreign tourists who can’t speak Japanese to buy Suica (prepaid card to take train/bus).

It is not just about sleeping at someone's place but it is about a priceless moment to share a great knowledge and culture with the host and to understanding each other. We are the teacher and we are the student as well. Sharing knowledge is a great experience.
