I am Ariane (or Gauri).

Who am I ? This is the question I ask myself everyday and I have to admit that the answer is changing with time also. Am I my past? Am I my trips? Am I my dreams? Am I my interests and passions? Am I the adjectives like courageous, spontaneous, passionate, compassionate, empathetic? I believe I am none of that.

I just AM. Just as you ARE. Just presence. And that´s sooooooo enough !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing means to REthink our idea of travelling. What happens between people who don´t know each other when money is not involved?

Using couchsurfing is, among other stuff, a lillte way to contribute to an alternative way of living.

It is also so important to me to continue to connect with other people, continue to learn, to be open to whatever comes to me, to be able to open our hearts to fellow people.

Sharing a mini bed bunk with a friend for 32 hours in an indian train.
Riding a crazy farting horse in the incredible mountains of Kirghizistan.
Hitchhiking with all kind of people, realising that we all want to be seen, loved, accepted.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can do Yoga together, meditate, hike, party, go to a concert, sing, dance freely, talk, sit in silence, hold space for each other, cook delicious food, make fresh indian chai, inspire each other, just accept each other as we are.
And sometimes also accept that the other doesn´t want to connect ...
