About Me
Alrighty! I’m a traveler from Tasmania, the island at the bottom of Australia. I love to adventure and this year I’m exploring the countries of Europe, tasting all the food I can and hoping to meet amazing people along the way. I play soccer, am learning to surf, like bushwalking, love musicals and can’t help but have a good laugh over drinks or dinner.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Earlier this year my friend and I spent 2 months bike touring around Belgium, Holland and France. The people we met along the way and the hospitality and kindness they showed us really made our trip one to remember. We made friends from places all over the map who we will stay in contact with in the future. And I think couch surfing is a great way for a backpacker to meet these locals and to share stories, tips and have a good time

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a 10 day sailing voyage on an old tall ship in Tasmania with a number of newly settled refugees. The sailing itself was a crazy adventure of stunning sunsets, dolphins and storms. But the highlight was being able to meet so many people from different cultures and bond with them over unforgettable experiences and memories. I think this adventure in itself has shown me how important it is to immerse myself in the cultures of the places I’m travelling and how meeting the people of the world is what provides memorable moments.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring good company, travel stories, Vegemite (!), laughter and can whip up a meal. I’m always ready for an adventure whether it be an evening of card games, going to a local bar or exploring a city.
