ABOUT ME

Holà !
I m a forthy something girl who enjoys meeting new people from around the globe.
I was raised and born here in the Montreal aera, I know the city and surroundings very well. As a backpacker myself i know how it is appreciated to be with locals who can help out, give tips and offer cheap boarding.

I have been to Budapest, parts of USA, Mexico, Central America (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala y Honduras) and South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia) Tunisia, Morocco, and Madagascar. I will soon explore new countries and can't wait to discover Chile, Eastern Europe and Asia. There are so much to be seen.

I like to talk about life, culture, music, politics. I enjoy a good reading either a social essay (Gladwell), philosophical (Lenoir, Jodorowski, Pinkola Estes) or just a good damn book (life of pi, Millenium, and so much more). I also like going to the theater, the cinema and dancing until the wee hours or under the full moon. I love to get lost and finding my way out, discovering things for the first time and learning new things everyday.

I like having people with me and as a host I try to make people feel at home when they stay with me. I do see this has a way to meet authentic and new potential friends.

I think life is so perfect if we live simply and let people simply live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will host couchsurfers and tell them all I know about cheap living or good living in Montreal or in other areas that I know.
If you host me : i will be respectful of you, your belongings and environnement.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS was in conversations more and more as I traveled. So why not give it a go?!

The way I participate in this new cs experience is by surfing on your couch and hopefully make both of our experiences a fantastic one!

Interests

Meeting interesting people, quiet nights or concerts. Hockey and Soccer. Movies, documentaries and I love a good laugh!!

I adore animals, wildlife and nature. I like anything that fall into these :

Music: reggae, dub music, world music, some hip hop,I am a BIG music listeners ... Anything goes!! A few: Ben Harper, Manu Chao, MIA, leonard Cohen, Rage against the machine, Jean Leloup, Rachid Taha, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Outkast,Fabulosos Cadillacs, Emir Kustirica, Gogol Bordello, Godspeed you black emperor, etc.. Love to ear new stuff and to discover new talents.

Movies: Life is beautiful, cidade de deus, any kubrick or quentin tarantino movie, french movies or quebecois movies. Same as music ... I will try anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My traveling is my pride I have been to various place but can't wait to discover and see new scenery.

I'm also quite active and play sport and I ve done the 48hrs make-a-wish bike challenge, river canoeing for 10 days down the Ashuapmushuan river and the 20km dragon boat challenge. I m proud of these !

I come from Montreal, Quebec (Canada) and can share my knowledge of the beautiful Canadian sceneries and cold weather, Brrrrrr.
