Hi everyone !

I’m Ariane, I'm living in Chambéry (French Alps, near Switzerland).

I had the chance to travel and even work abroad, and it each time was full of surprises from meeting a dynamic new people or feeling serenity immediately in beautiful nature. I started using Couchsurfing during my trip in South Korea, and I had the chance to met beautiful souls and learn about the culture et the history through the eye of natives. It's a truly a memorable experience for me and now I wish give back all that sympathy to travelers who came around. Even if my city isn't the number one touristic spot, I will make sure to help create memories.

In my free time I like to do sports (hiking, skiing, cycling, fencing), photography, discover architecture and design or hang out with people and explore where they live.

PS : I don't use CS as an instant messaging service, so don't expect my response to any simple “Hi” please.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always eager to meet new people and learn about their culture, travels and take time to share their hobbies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music : funk, soul, R&B anytime of the day ; classic and vintage rock on morning ; some house on the evening. But mostly let it go on the dancefloor !

Favorite movies : Everything except horror ! Billy Elliott, Captain Fantastic, Into the Wild, Minari, La La Land, The Last Samouraï, Memoirs of a Geisha, Hidden Figures, Comme des frères, Le Dîner de Cons, Forrest Gump, Le Chant du Loup, Will Hunting, Au revoir là-haut, Seven Years in Tibet, Madison Road, Imitation Game, etc ...
