ABOUT ME

Finished a master in screenwriting, worked as a French teacher in beautiful Scotland and Germany and now back living and working in Quebec city. I love arts and languages, I'm very curious and I like to discover new people, food, places, bands, movies, etc. I talk a lot, I'm frank, a bit weird sometimes!

J'ai une maîtrise en scénarisation, ai travaillé en tant que professeure de français langue seconde en Écosse, reine de mon coeur, et trois ans en Allemagne. Je suis maintenant de retour à Québec. J'adore les arts et les langues, je suis très curieuse et j'aime découvrir de nouvelles connaissances, de nouveaux plats, de nouveaux endroits, de nouveaux groupes, de nouveaux films, etc. Je parle beaucoup le moindrement qu'on m'en donne l'occasion, je suis franche, et ma foi, pour l'être tout à fait, je suis un peu spéciale, parfois ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Without Couchsurfing, I would never have tasted homemade beer, bathed at night in the Pacific right after eating the best tacos in Los Angeles, toured Antwerp by bike on a private tour and got to know so many amazing people!

Interests

Cinema, literature, creative writing, poetry, languages, travels, music, art, hiking, photography, history, food, etc.
I got a thing for gaelic, cats and soft candies :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : Can't name them all! I like indie and independant movies, period dramas, fantasy, psychological movies, romantic comedies, foreign language films. If you're still wandering, let's name Amelie, Before sunrise/sunset/midnight, Harold and Maude, Girl with a pearl earring, LOTR, and (almost) any Jane Austen book's adaptation!
Music : Folk, celtic, rock, indie, neo-classic, movie soundtracks, post-rock...
Books : I don't really have a favorite. I read mostly psychological fiction, historical dramas and fantasy. I also love contemporary poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walk alone in the dark on the Isle of Iona, hearing silence, actually seeing the stars, feeling the quiet power of nature.

Marcher seule dans le noir sur l'île d'Iona, entendre le silence, vraiment voir les étoiles, sentir la puissance tranquille de la nature.

I'm really good in French so if you want to learn, it'll be a pleasure!
In return, if you speak another language than French and English, I'll want to know about it!

Je m'y connais bien en français, alors si vous voulez l'apprendre, ce sera un plaisir.
En retour, si vous parlez une autre langue que l'anglais et le français, je vais certainement vouloir en apprendre un peu!
