ABOUT ME

PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR PROFILE BEFORE SENDING ME A REQUEST TO SURF MY COUCH. PLEASE SHOW ME THAT YOU ACTUALLY READ MY PROFILE. ;)
Me briefly:
-vegan( was vegetarian for a bit before),
-was a cheerleader for 9 years(it has nothing to do with pompoms, it`s actually very athletic and demanding ),
-VERY talkative,
-love performing on stage or in competition
-used to study classical singing(opera and classical lieder)and I love singing
-I smile a lot
-used to be very into punk and skacore growing up and I can definitely rip it up in a mosh pit( I don`t do it anymore because I feel too old for it now)
-book worm
-love going out every once in a while and can be quite entertaining when I have had a couple of beers
-love big cities (but I come from the suburbs)
-have been a little obsessed with anything Africa-related since living in Tanzania in 2013
If you have a question, feel free to ask, but remember that I talk a lot! hahaha

PHILOSOPHY

I don't believe in waiting for things to happen in my life. I believe in finding ways to make those things happen. I do not want to wake up at 50 and think "Ishould have...".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to show people around in Montreal as often as I can. I used to host in my old apartment.

I hosted in Germany (Hamburg and Stuttgart), in Tanzania and in Montreal and I show CSers around Montreal from time to time.

Interests

Music(classical, opera, psychobilly, punk, skacore, indie, reggae, anything with accordeon, some electronic stuff, Tanzanian hip hop...)
Cheerleading(it is a competitive sport, it has nothing to do with cheering for a football game, in fact I have never cheered for a game in my life)
Alpine skiing
Ballet(watching it)
Literature(I enjoy reading a lot and I used to work in a book store and a library, so temptation was always there)
Photography(going to exhibitions, I am not so good myself)
Travelling(quite shocking isn`t it?)
Arts in general, especially contemporary art
Learning different languages, I want to learn more Swahili
Drag queens(we have some great ones in Montreal)
Dancing stupidly when I go out with my friends

I also enjoy cheesy romantic comedies every once in a while to cheer me up... Cheap horror movies àla Ed Wood that make you laugh instead of afraid like Cabin by the lake.

I read a lot, it is hard to sum up, but a Diet for a New America is a must if you want to begin to understand why people go vegan ...
