ABOUT ME

I graduated with a degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz in 2012. I spent my junior year studying abroad in France, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Once I finished school, I took time off to travel before going to Argentina to teach English. I spent two years working in a variety of settings then finally headed off to graduate school in Illinois to pursue my Master's in Social Work. After a year I returned to California to do my internship and as of May 2017 can officially call myself an MSW!
I have met a lot of interesting people in my life, and would love to meet even more. i want to see the world! also i don't like capital letters. i don't spell wierd right.i don't walk straight. i'm super indecisive.i love snail mail.i love swings.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason. I just might not know what it is until later.

I spend a lot of my time getting lost, but I figure I just get to see more that way. Plus, it's not a trip unless you get lost and have ice cream :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a couple times and they were always good experiences.
but my family has also been part of a similar group. I have therefore had international people in and out of my house my whole life, as well as met people this way when I traveled with my family when I was younger.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

My family traveled to 8 countries in 5 weeks when I was in middle school. Which of course means I don't remember everything. I traveled to 2 more in 2 months by myself in high school. I remember those a little bit better.Studying abroad in Lyon, France was probably the best of my life. plus it gave me the opportunity to visit 8 countries on 2 continents in the process! Then finally, I spent 10.5 months traveling through South America and with a friend and then teaching English. Parts of it were amazing, parts of it were really tough, but on the whole it was a great learning experience. I did a birthright trip to Israel for 10 days. And this summer I am looking forward to go to Guatemala!
