Hi:), I am Arianna a 22-year-old girl from Italy!

I study science and technology for the environment and currently live and study in Prague.

I come from a small town in Italy, living near a beautiful lake with the Alps in the background!
I really love summer at the lake, we go swimming and diving, or we explore new beaches by kayak!

Laughing and joking are never to be missed I am very sociable and I love listening to stories and learning new things. I enjoy sharing unforgettable moments, I connect with people and they connect with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm enrolled on coachsurfing because I think it's a great thing to be hosted by different people, to be able to enter for a moment in their daily life, get to know them, share happy moments and traditions.

Interests

Mountains and climbing are among my major interests. As soon as I have a day off, I escape and take refuge in my mountains, where I find a listening ear and understanding. Nature is incredible, and we are part of this wonder, realising what surrounds us and how beautiful it is is one of my goals.

I externalise emotions by writing, I write about fantastic and magical worlds, I sing stories of wizards and princesses, of woodland creatures and fairies.

I like to cook, and eat! Cooking always takes me back to my childhood, when with my grandmother I used to make gnocchi on Sundays and then eat them all together.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment, the favourite book is 'Ants, a story of scientific exploration'. The authors are two of the most important myrmecologists of the 20th century. The book combines the scientific essay with the novel and takes you on an exploration of the fantastic world of these small, but important and strong, animals.

Music: I love listening to music, I spend hours every day, music makes me creative and frees my thoughts. I don't have a dominant genre, I'm very fluid and my mood influences a lot the choices I make

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the first experiences I had on my own abroad was to go and build the main walls of a house out of car tyres.

Fifty of us lived there for a month, from all over the world! We created a small community, and made strong relationships and lasting memories.

I will never forget that experience, that's where my journey started, and I haven't stopped since!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to cook together and share lunch or dinner. I am vegetarian and I love to cook and try new dishes!
Eating together is sharing, and sharing is enriching one's being.
We can take a long walk or drink a beer on the sofa, or lie in a park and have a picnic!
I hope that through my experiences so far I can enrich someone and above all be enriched!
