About Me
Hi!
myself and my husband Matt are a friendly early 30's couple. We are in the middle of a 5 month bike & train tour across the Schegen region of Europe to take a break from work. I have done a few road bike tours in Oregon/ California and Ireland, and this is Matt's first tour! We have both bike-camped a little bit around California. We have no food restrictions, we are not taking any pets with us, and we don't smoke (though we do not mind staying with someone who smokes! Fine with me)
This profile is covering the both of us, because we are traveling (and surfing) together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since we are primarily bike touring, we are mainly using Warm Showers (couch surfing for cyclists), but have run out of luck finding hosts in certain cities.... so we are giving couchsurfing a shot! But also we love meeting new people and learning their perspectives on living in their city/ county, we enjoy cooking for others, and just sharing in general (we're also ex cooperative housing folks).
We would love to return the good karma of others by hosting in the future, wherever we end up in the California Bay Area : ) We are have with us our touring bikes, tent, and sleeping bags- so we don't even need a bed!
