I have mainly been traveling in connection with my studies. Now it is due to work!

I joined couchsurfing in 2009 but became really active in 2011, while studying in the US.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far most of my couchsurfing experiences have been really great:)
I've meet really interesting people, who have been open-minded and really easygoing.

I have made really good 'adventure' friends just by meeting up with people for coffee and tea; and I would recommend it to people who are going abroad/living for a longer time period somewhere new.
