They would say that I'm funny and warm...although sometimes somewhat scattered... Adventurous, fun-loving, sassy and smart. And that delicious food always has a magical way of finding me.

Interests

I work too much. Other than that, I love yoga and hiking and everything related to food and wine. I have a kick-ass kid and I'm always dragging him to cool stuff, like visiting monkeys and making ice cream with liquid nitrogen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the shadow of my cape-like sweater get carried on the breeze behind me, while music played from...somewhere...in Tomar, Portugal, at the historic stronghold of the Knight's Templar.

Sitting at the edge of the St. Petersburg canals, in Russia, first thing in the morning, with fog all around me and the sun glinting on the water.

Loudly gossiping in English with friends about a cute waiter in Montmartre, France. We were young and, for some reason, didn't think he'd understand what we were saying. Then someone called to him from across the dining room, and he answered back - in English - in a perfect American/Canadian accent. Whoops :)
