COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only started traveling recently, and I've met Couchsurfers who have made the experience really interesting. I met some really cool people, and I could say we've been good friends since.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - ROCK! I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Black Sabbath and the like. When I was in my teens, I was into really heavy stuff like Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and A Perfect Circle. I'd recently learned to appreciate jazz and hiphop music. I'd pretty much listen to anything except jeepney music. Can't stand it

Movies - I'd watch anything as long as there's food to keep me company, although I prefer comedies. My favorite movies as of the moment are Fish Story, Pirate Radio: The Boat That Rocked, The Interview and What We Do In The Shadows

Books - I'm really into fantasy and science fiction. I love the Harry Potter Series (although if I had to pick one, it would be The Chamber of Secrets) and Ender's Game. Would read anything by Neil Gaiman and Ursula K. LeGuin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to a foreign country by myself! I met a lot of interesting people that way :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I've worked as an ESL teacher for almost four years now so if anyone's here to learn English (and a bit of Filipino culture) I'd be more than happy to help! I'm also interested in learning about foreign languages and culture so I would really like to travel and meet with people from all over the world.
