Hello! I'm Marina, from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I'm a very curious person, who like to talk about almost everything and know everyone. I'm really interested in other people's realities and their opinions, so couchsurfing is amazing for me!

I'm the middle of 3 sisters, I'm 26 YO. I'm from Buenos Aires Province an hour away from Buenos Aires City center. I like reading, my favourite author is Julio Cortázar an Argentinean writer.

I have a degree in Tourism and used to work doing free biking tours for Buenos Aires City Goverment in La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo. I also had a seasonal job in Los Glaciares National Park near El Calafate in Patagonia in 2017. During 2018 and 2019 I've been living and working in New Zealand, at Milford Sound, a fjord in the South island. This is what I mean to do from now on, travel and work around the world. The next plan is to do my scuba diving courses in order to become a professional instructor.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is Argentina's national rock, such as Luis Alberto Spinetta, Charly García, Sumo, Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, Soda Stereo, Gustavo Cerati, and many others. I also like, international rock bands and jazz.
I love the movie The dreams of Akira Kurosawa and the series Black Mirror. I actually like dystopian movies and books, such as Blindness (Saramago), 1984 (Orwell), Brave New World (Huxley); the ones that make you think about the world we live now and what is it turning into. Though my favorite book is La Mujer Habitada from Gioconda Belli

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazed I'd ever been was while diving in Venezuela, I've done it in Cuba as well. It's you, animals, colours, silence; a part of the world we're not used to see. I love it!
I also lived for 7 months in Los Glaciares National Park, working at Estancia Cristina as a tour guide, the place is located 2 hours away of navigation from Calafate, isolated from anywhere else surrounded by nature, a-ma-zing.
