ABOUT ME
I'm a gryffindor. I love having new adventures and life experiences, I'm always trying to keep my mind open to new points of view and meet new people. I love to travel and I like reading, baking, and music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm traveling right now so I'm looking for places to stay and friends to meet. I'm hoping to get into hosting when I return to Seattle in December.
Interests
I'm in school for a History/Interdisciplinary Arts double major with an English minor. I want to specialize in Eastern/Central Europe, particularly the modern and postmodern periods. My friends are all very artistic, I tend to hang out with musicians, actors, and artists, so if we aren't going to a hole-in-the-wall concert, we're throwing themed parties or playing Lord of the Rings drinking games. I am a Theatrical lighting Master Electrician, which basically means I do lights for Theatre. I also like to read tarot, bake cookies, and craft in my spare time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading, I'm into Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Sun Also Rises, Dracula, and many more. I'm also a huge movie buff, some favorites include Limitless, The Dead Poets Society, The Last Unicorn, Interview with a Vampire, and some classic 80s, Disney, and Ghibli films. My favorite music is 90s alternative rock and grundge.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting to the top of Tanalian Falls in Port Allsworth, Alaska, the water is clean and cold. Backpacking across Japan with my Grandmother and older sister, the entire trip was amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Today there are a lot of misunderstandings about modern feminism, so I'm going to share some information about the movement. I am a feminist. If you are not a feminist, you are a misogynist; there is no middle ground. You either support Women's Rights or you do not. The modern feminist movement is nothing more than an equal-rights advocacy group. it is not about having hairy legs and burning bras. It is not about wearing skimpy clothing and walking down the street. It is about creating an environment both socially and politically where men and women can be the kind of person they want to be without fear of violence or humiliation.
