ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 year old student at the university of Amsterdam. I grew up in Leeuwarden, the frisian capital. I love sailing, playing soccer, life and many other things.

After reading some books, watching movies and hearing stories from friends of mine i became hungry to travel. In 2010 I started traveling. First I hitchhiked to Barcelona. In Summer I traveled with five friends to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Turkey.

Two years ago I made a trip to the caucasian region and visited some other great countries. These countries realy impressed me, like georgia, and the non-existent state of Nagorno-Karabakh!

I am an easy going guy, whose in for some good conversations as well as having loads of fun..

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that learning is life. To learn new things makes life worth living.. So im glad there is so much to learn!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love reading many different books. Always reading around five of them at the same time.

Band of Brothers is my all time favorite movie (yes it is actualy a mini-seri). I also like movies of Quentin Tarantino. Shawshank redemption, saving private ryan, and many art-house movies as well.

Music is very important for me. I listen to music very often and i like many different styles of music. I love to talk about music and listen with some friends to music and share it. So if you know some good music, love to get some, love to give some!

Diving from some cliffs in Iraqi Kurdestan, whilst some mean looking guys with AK's where watching us and thought our jumping was foolish...
