About Me

The things you should know about me is that I am outgoing, positive and a little shy. I love meeting new people and exploring and experiencing new cultures. I also love traveling, horses, cats and dogs, skiing and food.

I left home when I was only 13 to go to boarding school (which was my choice). I moved 8 hours away from my friends and family. It might have been on of my best decision I ever made. It gave me life long friends all over the world and endless amount of good and funny stories. It was the best 4 years of my life. I had so much fun to be around people like me who have ADD/ADHD. (Ooh shiny) It was never a dull moment that's for sure. We did fun trips like going to New Orleans, traveling, skiing and eating around New England and going to Costa Rica to do a research project there.

Then I went to university and studied entrepreneurship and resort management. Which was fascinating and a lot of fun. I look forward to create something of my own. During university and high school I always lived with a plethora of different people, which was always fun and interesting. Man do I have stories good and more funny ones.

After I graduated I went on to working for Fairmont at that was interesting and discovered a lot about myself. After that I took a 6 month break to ski and relax. I later worked for ClubMed in Florida I love it and had a lot of fun. After all that partying it was time to finished my season and moved back home. Where I had an amazing season of skiing. I hate being stuck in one places for to long and now I'm itching to experience something new again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way on make new friends in places that I have never been before. Like when I went to New Orleans we met a local who encouraged so to go to this butcher and grab some mufflatas they were the best thing that I ever ate. And we got to experience the local culture. I am looking for great spots to explore and experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I love everything except screaming. My favorite genres is Blues, Jazz, EDM and pop. With the occasional rapper and classical piece.

Books: The Iron butterfly Series, Harry Potter and Matched. I love sci-fi, adventure, fiction and romance.

Movies I don't particularly have a favorite but I do enjoy Hayao Miyazaki movies. I've almost seen all of them and my favorite would be My neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. But who doesn't love their Harry Potter and their super heroes right?? But gerne of movies would be sci-fi, romance and adventures. A guilty pleasure of mine would be anime. One of my favorites are Gundam Seed trilogy and Inuyasha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done research in the Costa Rican rainforest for 3 weeks. I studied the strongest natural fiber in the world that is once per once stronger then steel and weigh less the a hair. Another amazing thing I made the choice of doing was to leave home at the age of 13 to go to school aboard. It gave me the best experience ever.
