Overview
About Me
I'm an Aussie traveller, based in Sydney, who speaks some Spanish and will be visiting South America throughout 2020.
I am very curious and love to learn new things. I hold a bachelors degree in biology and one in philosophy. I also have a Masters degree in American studies as I love to learn about big interesting topics and societies.
I am very easy-going, adaptable, and love to try new things. I like eating lots of different food, staying very active rock climbing, running, or spending time outdoors, and playing games with friends. When alone, I like to fill my head with knowledge about the world, but I equally enjoy chatting to people about ideas, both serious and silly.
I have worked most of my life in restaurants, cafés, and bars while studying, and have travelled to many different cities and places all over the world. I like learning languages and I'm currently trying to pick up some Japanese.
My general interests/hobbies include: geography, zoology, linguistics, social science, philosophy, rock climbing, fitness, games, comedy, food, and discovering new ventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of 80s music, funky music, and world music, but I have a smattering of different tastes in every genre.
I don't watch many movies, but I love comedies, movies with a sense of fun, artistic and stylistic movies, and overanalysing the few that I do watch.
I don't generally read fiction, but I like a good easy-to-read non-fiction book, and everyday I'm reading articles online about news, science, and culture.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed a mountain or two. Super thrilling!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you English, some Spanish, anything related to my university degrees–biology, philosophy, American studies–and basically anything in my collection of weird world knowledge.
I can teach you how to rock climb very well, and in general can give general health and fitness advice.
I can also cook a few recipes that I know from around the world and share them with hosts.
In terms of learning and sharing, I am infinitely receptive to new knowledge, perspectives, and ways of being, and hope that the people I hang around with are too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My time, knowledge, and energy doing fun, active things, or just talking about whatever in a relaxed setting.
