About Me

CURRENT MISSION

exploring Mexico as much as possible before I run out of money

ABOUT ME

I think I'm a pretty nice person. I'm a fairly out going, creative, quirky, hippy type. I love seeing new places and meeting new people - but maybe that's standard among travelers?

PHILOSOPHY

be good to each other, be good to yourself, be good to the planet. remember to be grateful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm traveling a lot these days, so my participation will be mostly as a guest. One of these days when I have a place to keep a couch you can definitely come stay on it though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none yet, I'm new here!
I met a really nice guy on a train once who hosts couchsurfers, that was neat.

Interests

I'm interested in most things probably, I'm a little eclectic that way. I love art, culture, music, neat science-y things, environmentalism, feminism, history, being out doors, people, food, spirituality, museums, animals, beautiful things, philosophy, farming, alternative living and economics.

I'm not particularly athletic or interested in technology, sports or... anything too advanced or obscure for me to follow.

Music, Movies, and Books

yes.
movies - documentaries, romantic comedies, or action films are my prefered varieties, but I'm not too picky.

music - grateful dead, the clash, and modest mouse are probably my top 3 bands. I really like singer song writers, bluegrass, rock, folk

books - anything by Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut or Micheal Pollen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things happen everyday. Yesterday I went snorkleing and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The day before that I saw a cat eat an iguana, that was also an amazing thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've got a knack for arts and crafts things. If you want to improve your drawing skills, learn to knit, make jewelry, etc I'm your girl. I'm good at cutting hair. I'm a pretty good cook. I can tell you things you might not know about industrial food processes, pollution, prairies, and other random environmental insights.
