About Me
Hello!
My name is Ariel.
I was born and raised in the isolated island chain of Hawaii.
I am an introverted writer and book lover who also loves to travel and experience new people, places, and cultures.
(I am more than happy to provide social media information with any hosts contemplating allowing me to stay— as verification of me as a person.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I absolutely love to travel. I am happiest when I am in a new place learning new things about other cultures-- everything from the history and arts to the food and language fascinates me and inspires me to live a fuller life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After I graduated from university in Hawaii I went abroad for the first time and caught the travel bug! Going out into the world and realizing that I had such a passion for travel has been the most amazing thing I've experienced so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have ample experience with writing, editing, and tutoring in English. I am willing to share these skills with anyone who may find a need for them. :)
I am very fond of sharing thoughts and ideas on any subject, though I particularly love to discuss social justice, literature, history, the arts, theology, psychology, and cultural anthropology.
More than anything I love to learn!
