I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where I work as an instructional designer for a children's hospital. I enjoy cooking and dining out, playing piano, yoga, hiking, tea, and practicing Italian.

Traveling is a huge priority for me. I love experiencing and learning about other cultures and parts of the world. I think this kind of exchange is so important to foster empathy in one another and to see other people's perspectives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I grew up staying in hotels when traveling with my family, but recently I've shied away from that because I'd rather feel like I'm living in a place as opposed to only visiting there. I think it's a better way to understand what it's really like to live there. I also think it's a great opportunity to get to meet local people, and people are what make a place!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking on the cliffside coast in Howth, Ireland was one of my favorite experiences of my entire life. I felt a peace there that I can't explain.
