I grew up in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and my family is Jamaican and American so you can definitely call me an island girl.
I study mechanical engineering at Brown in Rhode Island (a little too cold for me but I love it there) and I'm interested in learning about and traveling around the world.
I recently spent my last semester in Santander, Spain and got to explore Europe for the first time. I loved it!

To travel and meet new people. It's always so much better to visit a new place with a local host so you don't get stuck in the typical tourist traps.

Centres d'intérêt

I love to play sports, mostly soccer and volleyball but I'm always up to try new things. For example I recently tried surfing and rock climbing for the first time. I love the ocean and I'm a certified SCUBA diver!
Also dancing: I can do bellydance, mande (african dance), bachata, salsa and dancehall. I'm also learning guitar and love to sing.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: Anything I can dance to or that reminds me of home. So the winner is calypso, reggae, and everything in between.

I play on the Virgin Islands national football (soccer) team. We aren't very good... at all. But it's still a fun fact and I got to travel all over the Caribbean that way.
