About Me
Recent college grad with a passion for traveling & learning about new cultures. I live life with an open mind & heart. Have been on an amazing spiritual journey for about a year now that has taken me across two continents. I have learned far more than I was ever taught in school. Keep on keeping on :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Um, why not?! As a once sheltered & shy American, I couch surfed for my 1st time across Europe in summer 2015 & gained SO much insight from my amazing hosts. By forcing myself out of my comfort zone, I was able to really grow and expand my mind. I'm still in contact with all the great people/surfers/hosts I met this summer :)
CS is such a fun cultural exchange. I love seeing new places from a local's perspective & sharing my own culture and stories. It's really enriching. & yeah, I had one "bad" experience with a host, but I'm absolutely still in love with the concept of couchsurfing and what it offers each party.
Interests
Traveling, exploring, hiking, yoga, cooking/eating, coffee, the ocean. Meeting new friends, it's so thrilling to share such strong bonds with people some would say you've just met. I have made the greatest connections with people through traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Open to anything :) I love music you can receive good vibes from instantaneously. Or music that just makes you feel young and alive and maybe ready to take on the night/world 😉
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding an ATV on the opposite side of the road in Thailand because friends would say I'm a "bad driver" 😁 ***I just became a flight attendant as of 12/2015 so I'm pretty proud of that accomplishment 😉***
Teach, Learn, Share
I have taught English in China, taught again this past summer in Zaragoza, Spain. Very blessed to be given the opportunity to teach but also learn about new cultures and see new things everyday. It's such a beneficial experience for my mind/body/soul that I could never return to routine life. ***Update: I definitely didn't return to routine life ;) became a flight attendant & genuinely love my job! Never thought I could hold a "full time" job while still pursuing traveling, but I'm eternally grateful :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good sense of humor, great stories too I might add. I've heard Im a good listener but I enjoy conversation as well 😉 I'm also very respectful & considerate. Plus I like to cook :))
