I'm pretty laid-back. I work for the mouse so I have sporadic hours but when I'm home I tend to play with my dog or take her to the local dog park. I live in a great one bedroom apartment in a condo housing structure with a great pool. I love to swim. I love to write and read. I have a pretty interesting life and because of that my hours are pretty sporadic. Please make sure you read over the couch area information when you contact me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1) I suffer from depression/anxiety/and bipolar mood disorder and because of this I find that I dont get out nearly as often as I should.....hosting folks allows me to interact with people without having to worry about going out to do so.
2) I actually love being a host but have every few friends in florida that will actually come and hang out. This changes that.
3) It forces me to have some semblence of a schedule in terms of keeping my apartment clean.
4) it allows me to make connections with people around the world who i hope will host me just as I have hosted them.

Interests

I am really into alternative relationship structures such as polyamory and bdsm. I am also super into being a part of these communities along with being a part of the LGBTQ community. I am currently persuing a Masters degree in clinical counseling with the hope of being able to work within these communities and help others. I feel like there is a need for counselors who have a working understanding of these worlds and I wish to help people who may be in similar situations like myself. Outside of consistently doing schoolwork I am pretty active with my dog and tend to take her for really long walks or we head out to various dog parks. She's very friendly with new comers and gets along with everyone. Outside of that I am pretty open about what it is that I like and don't like so just feel free to ask.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love pretty much any music just as long as it's not hardcore heavy metal I'm pretty much down for it. That includes anything from country to Gothic industrial to rock to classical to everything in between. When it comes to movies and books I'm pretty much a big nerd I'm really into science fiction and Adventure when it comes to movies I tend to do TV more often though. I pretty much I'm in love with the entire CW DC Universe that is set up currently. Of course I love anything dealing with Disney and their movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016 I got to travel to Budapest and Krakow but on the way there I spent 22 hours in Dublin, Ireland and I got to experience the Guinness storehouse and it was absolutely amazing. I have a newfound respect for the beer LOL.
