Hi I'm Ariel

I'm from London. I work for a record label and also run my own record label called Twisted Hearts Records on the side.

I like to squeeze in travel when I can and have met lots of lovely ppl on couchsurfers.

I am currently on a mini solo travel break in Colombia.
So looking to meet friendly locals and fellow travellers to explore, have a coffee or do activities.

My Hometown:

London is a collection of towns and villages so every area has its own character, it's also large enough that I often find myself discovering new places still! I particularly love walking in London.

I'm not hosting but am happy to show fellow couch surfers around and perhaps shoe a side of London you can't find in a guidebook!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I’m a big Jazz head. Also love Soul, RnB, Hip Hop and Funk.

Books: I love Sci Fi like Jeff Vandermeer’s Annihilation but also Becky Chambers’ wayfarer series and classics by Philip K Dick or Ursula LeGuin. I also enjoy fantasy like Patrick Rothfuss or Neil Gaimann. But my favourite book ever is One Hundred Years if Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Film: basically everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best couchsurfing experiences is generally one of my best experiences ever. I stayed with a lovely family in Ranomafana a small town in the middle of a mid altitude rainforest in Madagascar. We went trekking and found several species of lemur! Was the first time I'd seen an animal like that in 'the Wild'.
