About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Understand myself and the world better at the end of the journey...
ABOUT ME
I live to learn and enjoy being around inspiring people.
The vastness of the universe and human experience delights me. I think simple human interaction is a joy that is often forgotten when productivity and quantifiable goals are prioritized.
I like to be happy be with happy people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have informally couch surfed for a decade now, opening my home to others and appreciating when someone does the same for me. I think globalization is not a dirty word, but a wider neighborhood for all to feel comfortable and cared for in. I have met more couchsurfers at concerts, on the street, and on buses then anywhere else, and love the organic nature of those chance encounters. I do like the breadth of possibilities the online format allows and am eager to meet many more through this forum.
Interests
I live to hear what people are most passionate about and through them experience the world through a fresh and exciting lens.
Science fascinates me, particularly biology and earth sciences, I like decoding scientific jargon into simple concepts and glimpsing into the complexity that surrounds us.
I came of age in the electronic/DJ culture at the turn of the millennium and have a particular fondness for electronic beats, breaks, and bass, and love to get down with my funky self.
Avid vegetarian cook and love the veggies in all their natural beauty, I have not met a fruit or vegetable I didn't like in a while so PLEASE try me, or turn me onto something new.
On that note I am into culinary anthropology, playing around with "ethnic" cuisines, spices, and techniques. Show me your favorite dishes.
