I'm a dreamer and a realist and both silent and talkative. Or in the words of one of my favourite poets, Walt Whitman: "Do I contradict myself? Very well then, I contradict myself. (I am large; I contain multitudes.)"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did a lot of surfing between 2008 and 2010 and also hosted a few people. Lately I haven't been able to travel as extensively as before, nor have I had too many requests to host, so it is about time to step up the game again.

I love hanging out with couchsurfers because I think we're a different breed: friendly, interesting, open to new ideas, and almost always very wise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since my world trip in 2008-2009, I have surfed a few couches here and there, but I've also stayed long enough certain places to be able to host a few surfers too. I look forward to doing more of both in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best decision of my life was to take a year off from work in order to travel around the world. Besides the fact that I love to travel, I've met so many amazing and cool people that this has to top my list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a language teacher and can probably give you some tips if you need them. I like to learn new languages but I would also love to learn more about psychology, philosophy and life.
