ABOUT ME

I'm a Leo to the fullest so I love attention. I'm Detroit, and been living in California for 3yrs. I'm very nomadic as I didn't have a place to live growing up and learned to adapt to my environment. I love traveling, meeting new people, learning anything I can. I love trivia, while I am not the best at it I am improving, basically I am super competitive. I like to play basketball, rock climbing, any outdoor sports like snowboarding, and anything water related from tubing, snorkeling, to water skiing.

I am a very accepting person, you have to be a bad person who harms others for me to think anything bad about you. I love to laugh, I don't think life is worth living unhappy so whatever situation I am in i want to enjoy it. I can be a smart ass but its all in good fun, and I will have my friends' back no matter what.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal ambition is to prove that the mind is a very powerful thing and that people have extreme control over themselves, from motivations to addictions. I believe that I can do anything and the only thing stopping me is fear. I realize there are situations around the world that I can't even imagine experiencing, but most people have the ability to be happy all the time. Thus, I live my life being happy, and nothing is more important than being happy. So whatever it takes to make someone smile I enjoy it beyond anything. And no matter what my situation is, from living in my car to losing our twice, I find the positive and smile.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive stayed with people on 5 continents during a year traveling after college. I cant wait for my next opportunity to travel the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While these "surfing" experiences were not through CS, I've lived on friends' couches around the country. Stayed in Boston for a few months, hopped around Texas and Arizona, go to New York often, and even if Michigan when I haven't had a home people have taken me into theirs. I surfed around India, Chile, Guatemala, Israel, and counting. I am beyond words appreciative of the people of this world for helping me in my time of need and also allowing me to see the world.

Interests

Dancing - anything from salsa to jumping around it makes me happy.

Singing - karaoke professional, but also just walking around the house, in the car, in the shower, love the fact that I can produce my own music

All music - I love every aspect of music so I can appreciate it all. I love techno, classical, hip hop, popular radio music, indi, also music from other countries I have been listening to all sorts of African music on Yahoo Music for years

All sports - basketball, rock climbing, snowboarding, all water sports, hiking

Spirituality-I grew up in a Jewish and Catholic family, I am not very religious but extremely spiritual. I enjoy meditating and feeling the energy of the earth. I truly enjoy learning about all religion, and would love to have deep discussions with you

Music, Movies, and Books

Well as I said in my interests, I love all music

Movies - I like comedies, I tend not to pay attention enough to get deep meanings in movies and I feel like the news has enough horror stories that I don;t want to watch something scary voluntarily

Books - I have started reading lots of fiction lately, knocking out the classic series like Harry Potter, but I like non fiction books about history, biographies, and self exploration books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Israel I climbed the Masada before sunrise and watched it rise over the oldest land on earth. I could feel the energy of all the battles that happened over the past 1000s of years and it was an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a happy person, and want everyone to be happy. I don't know how well I can teach it but come hang out with me and you can't help but smile at least once.

I need to learn how to cook, desperately, so if you have some skills I am all ears.
