Ariele : I am a journalist, I write about women's rights, gender, equality and ecology for print and online magazines. I love surfing (on the ocean), making silly videos with my camera (than no one see except my closest friends and family), Lana Del Rey and discover new artists.

Thibaut : I am a financial analyst in the optical market. I love improvisation theater, skateboarding, animals (I often take care of my friends' dogs and cats when they leave for holiday) and drinking beers.

We're about to travel around the world. The departure will be around september 2020 and for now, our project is to spend 6 months in North America and 6 other months in the South. So if you're from this huuuuuge area, feel free to tell us , we would love to hear about your city, what you love about it, where we should go etc. ! Also, we want to travel in a slow, local and ethical way. With the lowest possible impact. No plane. Just boat, public transportation, bikes and our feet ! We will reduce our waste as much as possible and try to travel with the respect of the population and the environnement.

Of course, these rules follow in our home, even if we always have some ajustements to make to have a lower impact on the planet.

We're the co-founders of www.happyproject.world, an online magazine dedicated to the Parisians who change the world. We meet them and tell their story (in french ; sometimes in english) to inspire our readers.
We also want to communicate about all the great things that happen here in Paris : events, festivals, startup weekens etc. Now, the project is dead because of work but life is still wonderful and we still love to meet new inspiring people !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

UPDATE : sadly, our home has been sold and we have to leave it quickly so we don't really know when we will be able to host again. Hope it will be soon !

We're on couchsurfing because we finally living in a decent home to welcome you in our beautiful city.
As storytellers and people who love to meet new souls, we think couchsurfing is one of the best way to learn more about new cultures, make friends all around the world and bring travel into our lives when we're not away !
