Resumen
Sobre mí
Dancer by day, nerd by night.
I was born in Philadelphia... but my parents are from Argentina, and I live in Germany.
I was homeschooled most of my life, which has given me a love of learning and exploration (and fortunately also social skills). I used to work on Wall Street but left that behind to pursue a career in dance.
I also do some work as a model for dance photography shoots... you'll see some of my work in my photos.
If you want to see more of my stuff you can find me on Instagram: Ariel.Moves
I love to cook, and I love to experience new cuisines - I always try to cook at least one meal with my hosts (and if not with - then for!), I think it's one of the greatest ways to bond and get to know one and other.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I always prefer to meet and hang out with locals instead of just doing touristy things... and this seems like a great way to do that!
I've done the whole hostel thing, and it's really fun. You meet lots of cool travelers and have lots of great traveling experiences... but you don't really get to experience the city the same way you do when you go local.
Often, I'm traveling for auditions, so it's really important for me to get a real feel of the city I'm staying in since I may wind up living there.
Intereses
I love exploring new cities, although nature is what really calls to me. I love anything that will get me outdoors, whether it's bike-riding, rock climbing, hiking, swimming... you name it.
I also LOVE playing video games... and board games. I'm secretly a huge nerd.

Música, películas y libros
Oh man... way too many to list.
My music taste is varied - I like almost anything, from Indie pop to Dubstep to Classical to Rock - Some of my recent favorites include Shpongle, Sylvan Esso, Asa, Pink Floyd (not so recent, I know), Stravinsky and Verdi (definitely not recent), Emancipator, Ibeyi and James Vincent McMorrow.
Some of my favorite authors: Neil Gaiman, Phillip Pullman, Michael Chabon and Arundhati Roy
Movies? I'll watch them all. Seriously. Well - as long as they're good. But I love watching movies.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I just recently spent a month backpacking through Mexico. It was my first time traveling alone like that - and while I was initially very nervous about being on my own for a month, it was one of the best experiences of my life and has given me the itch to do a longer backpacking trip someday.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I am an excellent cook, and would be happy to exchange meals for lodgings. I can also help you look super cool by teaching you my awesome dance moves!
I also practice yoga regularly; if that's something that interests you I would be more than happy to share that in the form of a class, lesson, or conversation
I also speak four languages, and will be teach you swear words in any of those :-D
