I recently explored Greece for 3 months, and when I saw what Couch Surfing was, I realized it would expand my world during travels so much more. Now, back at home, while I can only host once in a while, I can absolutely be a friend to travelers and possibly attend some events.

After studying abroad in Ghana, I bought a djembe, learned how to play, and then started an all-women band in Los Angeles, and we performed all over California + the West Coast of the U.S.; music of West Africa, Afro-Cuban music and the Middle East. We were together for 7 yrs., and now we're all doing our own thing.
