When I first started travelling solo I was really nervous and worried that it would be lonely or boing. A year later, its something that I've come to love because of the people I've met and adventure I've been all thanks to stepping out of my comfort zone. I think couch surfing is such an amazing way to meet new people and to immerse yourself in a new culture.

I love all sorts of fictional novels from mysteries to chick lits. I just finished "the Reckoning" and am now on to Jules Verne's "Around the world in 80 days". Country music is my favourite in the summer, and jazz music in the fall. One of my all time favourite Canadian bands are the Bare Naked Ladies (they sing the Big Bang Theory theme song!!!).
