Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet cool people and have adventures!
I've hosted bands and friends of friends frequently at various places I've lived in, always someone sleeping on the couch and it's been a really great way to make friends and get to know people.
Interests
Writing, biking, hiking, hanging out with people and animals (especially dogs), reading all the books, movies, playing music (I play bass), punk shows, dive bars, good beer and cider, urban exploration (abandoned buildings), graffiti, skateboarding, anarchism, queerness, feminism, veganism, tattoos, cooking.

Movies: I love movies! mostly foreign films, artsy stuff, 80s comedies, bad-good movies (such as The Room)
Harold and Maude, Ladies and Gentlemen the Fabulous Stains, Daisies, Noi the Albino, Ghost World, etc.
Some of my favorite directors are Jim Jaramusch, Penelope Spheeris, Gregg Araki, and John Waters.
Music: 77 punk, pop punk, goth, post-punk, power pop, softer acoustic stuff like Elliott Smith, 60s french pop, metal.
Books: Some of my favorite authors are Albert Camus, Haruki Murakami, Dorothy Allison, Margaret Atwood, Assata Shakur, Tom Spanbauer, and Audre Lorde
