Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing a place I love with friends new and not so new! Being an active member in my local community, helping to make it even more awesome than I already know it to be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Good times always. I hosted quite a bit while living in Montreal, where I first learned of CS. I've hosted surfers from Germany, France, and the good ol' US of A. Always memorable, always positive! The CS community make a place feel like home, it's pretty rad.

Interests

Spending loads of time with friends, cooking and baking delicious food, woodworking, snowboarding, bicycling, hiking, breweries, creative DIY projects, thrifting, yoga, transforming spaces, reading new books.

Music, Movies, and Books

Festivals are a big part of my summers, I hit them up when I can. I go through cycles of the amount of time I invest in these categories - it's like all or nothing. All one and not so much of the others. Movies are a great opportunity to cuddle up with someone cute. I enjoy a good sci- fi and all the Bond films. And I like plenty of Wes Andersen's quirky films. Quentin Tarantino is likely my all time favorite filmmaker.
I don't feel I do enough of it - but I love reading. Recent recommendations: Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki by Murakami; The Hundred Foot Journey by Richard C Morais; and The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about how to grow things and living more sustainably. Lately I'm trying to reduce the waste in our home by purchasing products with as little packaging as possible, and upcycling the packaging you can't avoid.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make very yummy food and I'm happy to cook for you in your home!
