About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Lijiang local embassador?(^_^)/Trying to build a classroom n finally a school in some place beautiful&less crowded.
ABOUT ME
i'm Kaiyang,my english name is Ariel--as the name of the Disney "little mermaid".Beijinger.i'm a energatic person for life, art, travel, and meeting cool people.i find a person cool from various aspects:character, specialty and knowledge( maybe appearance should be counted, lol~)
Currently i'm a Chinese Mandarin teacher once majoring in TCSOL.it's so lucky that i love what i learned during these 5 years and i enjoy being a Chinese language teacher to help foreign students.
Chinese culture is attractive.i love it very much, but yes i'm also eager to experience more about the world in a deeper way compared to sightseeings or acdamic studying. So that's why i like backpack travelling, meeting locals and if fortunate enough, making new friends.i'm a big fan of CS. i hope i can be a CSer in the near future.so if u travell to Beijing and come to me,i'd like to assist u to experience the grace of this ancient city as well as the firece modern essence of it,espcially in the art and food field~ ;-)
PHILOSOPHY
life is a magic book:the more u read, the thicker it is.
life to experience, life to exchange, life to emerge;life is grace.
be humble to all the livings.
love mother nature!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The story started from my dear close friend Yining's amazing exp of CS during her european study period. After almost 2 years since she recommanded this project to me, in 2010, i finally realize that if i keep being alienated from the internet i will never have the chance to experience the grace of CS and be an alien in the end.So here i am! i am willing to help travellers to know my lovable hometown-Beijing better, and meet new friends! i love culture exchange and backpack travelling. in the end, i'd like to say sth that have been in my mind since i knew CS: who creat this idea?! it's damn fierce!;-)
