ABOUT ME

Hello:) My name is Ariel, and I am a kind, gentle souled southern girl who loves to appreciate culture, enjoy life, and make new friends! I love volunteering my time doing humanservice work, researching/ talking to others about health and naturalistic heath, and getting to know other people of various parts of the world. I’m a dancer, actor and hiker. I am fluent in Spanish and in English, and I love people and kindness and healing. I'm also good at teaching Spanish or English, so if you need help while I'm there, I'd be happy to teach what I know! Mi nombre es Ariel y yo hablo los dos idiomas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch surf because I love adventure, I love meeting new people and making memories and friends; and to make traveling easier for great people and be able to pay it forward when we have a place someone could crash is a beautiful feeling! I'm into fitness and beaches and dancing salsa/ Zouk and adventure sports and hiking.... bungee jumping... can't wait to meet you!

Interests

Whitewater kayaking, skiing, running/ walking/ hiking, swimming, volunteering for the less fortunate, random acts of kindness, teaching aerobics and zumba, personal training, research for health fitness/ nutrition increasing in knowledge; cooking!, dancing (esp salsa, west coast swing, bachata, ballroom), reading, learning about other cultures, wine-tasting (in moderation), festivals, and friendships! Hope to get to meet you! I am a life long type friend who is always there for my friends and who sees endless possibilities in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made 5 skydiving jumps without a tandem.... loved it! Also my fave other adventurous thing was whitewater kayaking.

Brazilian Zouk, bachata dancing and Latin dancing for sure! And anything fitness.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Teaching them spanish, sharing great stories and I live now in Santa Monica, CA so anytime you are out that way, come and let's hang out!
