About Me

I was born and bred in Argentina but I moved to Madrid about four years ago to live out my best Europan fantasies. A month and a half ago, I decided to quit my job, leave my plants in the care of my good friends and pack up most of my books to move to the UK temporarily and work in international summer schools.

With my contract nearing its end, I'm currently in Cambridge trying to figure out what my next move will be!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been lucky enough to meet and befriend loads of lovely souls who've been kind enough to put me up throughout my European travels. But living out of a suitcase does not always go according to plan! When I found out this morning that an impending job offer for the remaining part of August fell through, and with my current contract ending tomorrow, I suddenly found myself homeless, unemployed and without any friends in the city or time to plan where to go next!

But it was after wallowing in self-pity for about three hours that my Kiwi friend, fellow teacher and pro Couchsurfer Emma reminded me of this wonderful community!

Would you please help me make it through next week? ♡

Interests

I don't think I'll ever own a house, but if I do, I'll make sure it's filled with plants and books and plates I myself painted.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love literature and female authors, and I'm obsessed with Silvina Ocampo, Sylvia Plath and Virginia Woolf!

Watching Sofia Coppola's films as a teenager basically shaped my aesthetics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camino a Finisterre (like Camino de Santiago but less pretentious).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher and so I love learning and meeting people who are as curious as myself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love baking and sharing random poems and short stories no one's ever heard of over a cup of tea!

I promise I'll host fellow travellers when I finally move to France after summer! ♡

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Uruguay
