About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as many countries as I possibly can & meet as many interesting people as I can on the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm adventurous, energetic, & stress free. I've freed myself up to travel & see the world. I love trying new things & seeing new places. I know all of this sounds cliche, but it's completely true. I love tea, coffee, good books, good conversation, & of course good beer!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm set on seeing the whole world, one country at a time. Living my life to the fullest & being happy are my only two goals. Whatever happens, happens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be surfing for awhile & will happily host when I'm home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been touring Europe & surfed in quite a few cities. I've had awesome hosts & fantastic experiences. I can't wait to host when I can & hopefully use this to see a little more of the States!

Interests

Travel (obviously), horses, bicycles (particularly fixed gears), tea, coffee, books, music, partying, & trying new things. Share your dreams & passions with me. I love learning about new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love poetry (Allen Ginsberg, Wallace Stevens, Edgar Allen Poe, Walt Whitman, etc.). My favorite books are On the Road, All Quiet on the Western Front, Naked Lunch, Madame Bovary, The Hobbit, & quite a few others. Music? I'm pretty open.
I normally listen to The Killers, The Beatles, The Lumineers, The Decemberists, Bright Eyes, Odd Future, etc.
I love old movies like Inherit the Wind, Rear Window, Singing in the Rain, etc. along with horror/thrillers, action, & comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the pleasure of singing with a choir in San Marcos in Venice. The way the sound resonated around the hall was incredible. I love when you walk into a building & you can feel the history hanging in the air. I felt the same way when I saw the Mona Lisa painting for the first time. I was looking at a piece of history.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English & a little bit of Spanish. I love trying to learn new words in new languages. I'm very patient & happy to help you practice your English as well. I have a pretty decent amount of travel experience already, so if you haven't done too much or are hesitant to head out I can help you get started! I'm also very organized. If you need any help with stuff around the house, I'll do my best to pitch in!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
