I'm a 30 year old italian artist, drawing and making comics (sometimes illustration) is pretty much all my life in my small apartment with my boyfriend. I love to be organized and to try and do seven things at once, but to enjoy each one and to follow through.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to sometimes travel by myself or with my sister, without my boyfriend, and I'm trying to do so on a low budget and without the risk of getting lonely. I like to make strangers into friends and to go with the flow when I travel. Couchsurfing represents all of that!

Interests

When I'm not drawing I'm usually cooking something nice for dinner while singing my heart out (BADLY, but I enjoy myself), most likely the latest TV show I'm obsessed with... And before I go to sleep I read books, or essays on the latest movie/TV show/book/musical that stayed with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love many books, my favourite has got to me Hadrian's Memoirs by Marguerite Yourcenar. Neil Gaiman is my favourite writer. I'm a big fan of G.R.R.Martin's ASOIAF, too.
I love all kinds of music and musicals are my fav. I'm currently obsessed with Hamilton but I'm very much into Wicked, Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar, Mathilda and many others.
I'm also a fan of many cartoons: Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Yuri on Ice, Sailor Moon... I'm passionate about many things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm the co-founder and editor of small indie publisher Attaccapanni Press, and we've published a Witchcraft themed anthology of comics and illustrations called Grimorio. It's been printed thanks to a successful Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign. Almost 30 artists partecipated, me among them. The book has sold out within a year of its first print run, has done many runs since then, and we all got paid for our work. It was only the first in a long series of self-published books I'm very proud of.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share a meal cooked by me to anyone who would host me (an italian meal but I'm big into fusion cooking too) and to draw their portrait, or something else and then give them a sketch to remember me by!
