Music, Movies, and Books
Whoa this is an intense question! I'll make it much easier to get through with genres and description, rather than a 12 page list that probably wouldn't even fit in this box.
Movies: all types except horror, although I can if necessary. I love watching classics that have been famous for decades that my parents talk about. Newer movies are often hit or miss, and although I have seen a lot of movies in my day, I usually google the ones I intend to watch beforehand to make sure it's worth it. If I had to pick a favourite it would be The Hudsucker Proxy.
Music: classic rock, mid-90s and early 2000s hip hop, modern indie, electro-pop. From what I can remember, today I've listened to Islands, Dr. Dog, Nas, Mos Def, born ruffians Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, Cage the Elephant, the Kinks, and the Beach Boys.
Books: I read science non fiction, usually about either neuroscience, astronomy/comsomology, biotechnology, and food science. The fiction I really read are classics (right now I'm reading Catch 22). I also loved the Harry Potter series, Kurt Vonnegut and Tim Robbins.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
lived in Israel for a year, worked on coexistence projects with Jewish and Palestinian kids who are taught to hate each other
Teach, Learn, Share
Awesome box! I can teach about science, sports, music, and food, would love to learn specifically about carpentry, bicycle building/maintenance, electronics/circuitry, horseback riding, and generally about anything interesting!
