About Me
One good thing about being a computer science engineer is that sometimes you are so bored, you just want to pack a bag, and travel.
Am mostly lazy, and intrigued by things/places/facts/anything (or people) that are unknown to me. I tend to enjoy conversations as long as they are rational (no matter how irrelevant they might be). Traveling, gaming, and sports are one of the few things that get me out of my bed. And recently, I have been traveling quite a lot (guess I really wanted to run myself out of steam before I started working).
There is lot more to me than I write - well because I dont "really" know myself yet (hence the exploration). But I would love to have strike a conversation with you. And dont worry, I dont bite/kill/kidnap/or any other thing you might be afraid of.
P.S I am mostly sarcastic, and randomly serious.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Does "I love meeting new people and exploring places with them because they give me a new perspective to things, and to places I visit with them. One can learn a lot from internet, but real experience comes from real people." sound like a good one? Also, I mark myself as not accepting guests for a while, but feel free to reach out to me, in case it's an emergency stay or you need some tips/tricks. I will try my best.
Music, Movies, and Books
Am not much of a reader, and I don't have a particularly good memory when it comes to naming movies, but few books and movies that come right out of my mind are Books :The Thousand Splendid Suns, And The Mountains Echoed, The Righteous Life (A.P.J Abdul Kalam). Movies : Shawshank Redemption, Blood Diamond.
Quite frankly, many a times youtube autoplay is what decides the type of music I listen (3 cheers to Machine Learning). But one that I can always listen to is CokeStudio. If we meet someday, I will run you through my playlist (trust me, its not that bad).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If you have ever been to Mcleodganj, you would know how beautiful camping at snowline is. If you haven't, please make sure you do. Well trekking from base camp to Snowline (via Triund) is one of the most amazing things I have done recently, given I have acrophobia. I have also seen a leopard shark while sea diving, and I snorkeled for 6 hours every day for 5 days. :P
What I Can Share with Hosts
A wonderful place to stay, good enough Indian food (I am not too proud of my cooking), a good friend in foreign lands, a half tour guide (because I might be exploring things with you half the time) and much more.
