Couches: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Allie. Its mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no tiny blond has gone before.

ABOUT ME

I'm a young lass taking a deep plunge into the world before I go back to school to study public policy. I'm Macedonian and Irish; just like Russel Crowe. My brother looks like Russel Crowe with glasses. Coincidence? Yes.

Since my arrival in France I have learned how to knit, crochet, speak smidgens of Czech, and how to tactfully avoid getting tripped while I am out jogging (a frequent occurrence).

PHILOSOPHY

This is a very cliche one, but I'm always surprised at how few people can say this: I have no regrets.

I have biked twice across the state of Iowa, in the US. This may not seem impressive in length (about 700km/500miles) but when you think of 7 days of cows and cornfields, eating my weight in sandwiches every day, it was quite a feat.

Not only can I roll my tongue, but I can ridge it three times. I will try and teach you this, but mostly have fun while you make faces for a while =)
