I am an oil painter and teacher living in Santa Fe in the best house there is! I love the outdoors, traveling, museums, and most everything that can be classified as 'nerdy'. Also board games, card games, and meeting new people!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting- showing people the best parts of our city and getting to meet interesting and cool people from all over is such a blast. And surfing is really the best way to travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had quite a few experiences both surfing and hosting now, and I can truthfully say that they have been nothing but amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being out in Diablo Canyon and spending the night stargazing. We were only a half hour out of the city, but we could see the milky way, and so many shooting stars!

I was in Japan when the 2011 earthquake hit. The way that the whole country pulled together in the wake of such a terrible disaster was incredible. Everyone was so kind and amazing, and helping me and the group of middle-schoolers I was chaperoning change our itineraries so that we could get the kids home.
